AREAS OF SERVICE

Meeting All of Your Organizing Needs

Over and over, my clients have stated that if it weren't for our services, their project, as one client put it, “would have taken them months - or never!” We work with you to keep those items which are special to you and let go of the items you no longer need or that no longer fit your lifestyle. You will feel lighter and less burdened by your possessions, and your home will become more restful and relaxing as you reclaim your space and peace of mind. A client expressed the following sentiment after two work days at her home: “Thank you for all of your help in getting me organized and less cluttered! What a difference to see all of the progress and not stressing about all of the stuff we’ve accumulated!” Read below for how I can help you!

DOWNSIZING & RIGHTSIZING

Preparing for life's next adventure

If you are a senior, I'll help you free up space for what's important and enjoy a carefree new chapter of your life. If something were to happen to you would your loved ones be able to find all important papers easily? I'll help you create a paperwork kit and think about what you're leaving behind for your children to handle and how that will impact them.

Whether downsizing from a large home to a smaller villa, condominium, active, independent, or assisted living, we can help from assessing what furniture and items to take with you to seeing you happily situated in your new home. A note received from a client whose husband had passed on several years before we started working together, stated:  “It was so great to work with you! You pushed me to make decisions I have put off for far too many years. Thanks a million.”

And although we make suggestions, the client always retains the final decision making and decides where to donate or sell their possessions. But we will help facilitate those decisions so it gets done.

Parents and busy professionals may not have the time to undertake a move and unpacking let alone the time to organize their home. We will simplify and streamline your home and home office and give you the tools and easy steps to keep your home organized in just minutes a day. One busy mom wrote: “Cannot begin to thank you! So grateful and appreciative for all you’ve done for my home and my life. You have a talent that goes beyond your obvious love for your job. It’s definitely a calling.”

Taming the Home Office

Concerned about important paperwork falling through the cracks? The permission slip that needs to go back to school by Monday? The paperwork you need to take to your next appointment? Vital papers you may need at your fingertips in the event of an emergency? The tsunami of papers and ads in our mailboxes can be overwhelming. Our Home Office “taming” session means that important papers are where you need them when you need them. Ask about our Action Filing System and worry no more.

HOME STAGING

Make It Sell

Decluttering and organizing create a more pleasing visual and a  more efficient use of your real estate. And if you intend to sell your home, we can help stage it - which often increases a home’s listing price and reduces the home’s time on the market. A study by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), concludes that homes that are staged sell faster and at higher prices than those that are not staged.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND NO JUDGEMENT POLICIES

"Is this the worst you've ever seen?"

It is imperative for anyone working in your home and touching your personal papers and possessions to operate in a confidential and ethical manner. I subscribe to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals NAPO. We will not discuss your project with other family members, friends, or neighbors, without your express permission. Clients sometimes feel embarrassed, depressed, or discouraged by previous attempts to organize. We will work with you - not judge you. We understand that even the most organized person may need help when dealing with a life event such as a divorce, loss of a job, sickness or death in the family.
